What a wonderful picture of that abandoned Russian Ekranoplan!! It would be interesting to know the history behind this strange and unique design of a flying boat that actually doesn´t fly! Thank you for sharing. Interesting Theme you choose for this edit... 

While the Ekranoplan looks fairly weathered from the outside it’s absolutely pristine inside, and complete down to bedsheets on the bunk beds for the crew. The last flight it made was in April 1993 and it’s been towed to this location many years later. It...

It’s an excellent platform for that, reaching far places quickly due to the speed and having a payload capacity of 60 tons. And it can land on sea up to a wave height of 5 meters 👍🏻

I decided for 3 watches, all three Vintages, which are true keepers for me, since I was so happy to have found them, one together with a relaxed stroll through Paris.. They also somehow represent 3 lines of my collecting interest.. - Thus, without further...

The watches themselves are fantastic, and the strap choices equally inspired. The burnt umber tones on the Rolex strap, the sand nato on the breguet… and my favourite… The stingray on the Memovox… which is brilliant!

These watches are now with new owners but I miss them now and then! A diverse group of brands and styles: some sporty, some dressy, some in WG, some in SS or Ti, some white, black or blue dials, some Swiss, 1 Japanese... you can get an idea of my horologi...

Hello dear KM and friends… One upon a time, I got this Doxa and ever since we have traveled far and wide, enjoying some great adventures… Not all have been strenuous ;-)) … Water has also been included … But it’s just as at home on land … Have a great wee...
