Here are the 2 watches I got from my father.

The Omega cal 1480 I found at my dads after he passed away. I never knew he had this watch. It was in very bad shape running but date was broke and the time was awful when I found it. I asked my mom about it and she said he got it as a college graduation gift from my great grandpa. With that family history in the watch I sent it off to omega and got it restored. This is by far the most special watch I own and wear on family special occasions.

The Tag I got from him was his daily wear watch that I would always see him in. It is a very solid watch, he had it on a bracelet but I changed it to the nato. I wear for work my self a day or two through the week for work and I always feel it is a smooth looking watch.

I love how putting on a watch can bring back all sorts of good memories and family ties all at the same time making new memories. One day the memories and family ties can be passed down to the next generation to continue making new memories and remembering the old past ones.
