I often think about this theme as I like to deduct to find the essentials in things I do. The same goes for my watch interest. I sometimes think of downsizing my collection to a minimum and just be done with it.I suppose many of us entertain this thought....

Are you free from symptoms now? I hope so. I know several who are suffering from fatigue even long after. Even after 3rd shot. I didn’t catch Covid . My family did though but they were fine. A watch can be like a talisman in situations like that. A nice l... 

Took me about 10 days to be physically able to take a shower and while I was out of bed after 3 weeks it took another 2 months at least till I could do a full workweek normally. Now it’s fine but life knows how to keep throwing curveballs every now and ag... 

And thank goodness you made a good recovery.

It took me a while to get it, so certainly not a spontaneous purchase and then the stars aligned with it becoming available at a level I could afford just when I could do it - also marked a significant milestone 😊👍🏻🙏🏻

I love that your quintessential is the 'younger brother' of my quintessential (am I mistaken as to the timeline of first release of this one??). I totally love the quirky uniqueness of it, just as I do with the 1921, and the plain, time-only dial is exact...

This theme could be interpreted in so many different ways and choices as I’m sure you considered. I also almost chose a Rolex Explorer and a military watch. Interesting.

Outcome could have been a little different as well! I also think it’s interesting that no one has come with a brand “monotheistic” reply yet. Choices of what makes a keeper are mixed up with personal stories and experiences.

1. JLC Reverso Grande Sun Moon - long story short I found it on local craigslist in 2018, poor photos, reasonable price, I didn't know a lot about Reverso models at this time. Next day I spent 3 hours at car and finally I met the guy, the first owner. Wat...
