If not strictly humble, simple and timeless at least
Hello Art,
thanks for encouraging all those of us here, who are no big players in the watch league in terms of Patek and friends!
This vintage Omega of mine is probably not humble in terms of value (although one may differ on the exact numbers), but it definitely is in terms of character: very understating and unobtrusive. It might have been worn already in the times when steamships crossed the oceans and it will be wearable when we will eventually have shuttle flights to the moon (well, not that sure about space qualification for "non-moonwatches" from Omega, better check first yourself before starting 
!)

Very nice "humbleness" and superb shot
almost Dali like how the dial "melts" under the plexi. Once again I am impressed with your choice of strap. I like the cut grove between the edge and the stitching which adds something very vintage to it. What is the leather? Look almost like elephant... ...
The strap is an old calf, gifted to me by a friend.
