thanks Richard, this is my most precious watch by a country mile and one i hope to be able to keep at the end of the current 'difficulties', but i may have to be sensible in the long run. best Graham

Both represent a very attractive sision of another kind of Horology. Not that the most conventional watches are not appealing, you know my love for our favourite common brand, but these U.N are the spices of Life! Best, Nicolas
... first the colour shifting 1815, now the shape shifting Ellipse ! I knew, these are unique watches ... ! Truely mesmerising ... Regards Moritz This message has been edited by COUNT DE MONET on 2010-07-30 07:54:21...
OK, I'm cheating a bit, but: 1. It is a watch 2. It is on my wrist 3. The photo was taken on July 30 (at least it was the 30th in Asia...) Enjoy the weekend! Best, Gary G...
that is just superb Gary. all the MB&F's are Freakie, but this is the freakiest so far. any chance of an angled wristshot so we can see the dials as well. best Graham
its such a shame i've got champagne tastes and a lager budget as i love all 4 MB&F's with the frog and this being the top 2. it reminds me a bit of 2 Parmigiani Bugatti's stuck together (another superb watch by the way ). i thought that by having weird ta...
Once strapped to the wrist, the watch is quite comfortable to wear. Its light weight contributes to this in a substantial way. I also found it easy to read. Finally, it almost fit under my (fairly large) shirt cuff! All in all much better than it's size a...

Is this freaky enough? Junghans Mega 1, bought new in 1991. The Junghans Mega 1 was a revolution in both design and technology when it was new. This was the very first radio controlled atomic wristwatch. The case is in grey/black PVD. The Mega 1 was desig...
That's very interesting, Livius. I have not seen one before and it is in great condition (helped by the PVD coating I guess). Can it still be set by the atomic clock signal, or have things changed over the intervening years? Andrew
The Junghans Mega 1 is only receiving signals from the transmitter in Germany, (Frankfurt am Main), at 77.5 khz, and can only be used in Europe. Outside of Europe, it can be used as a regular quartz. Livius This message has been edited by deBalzac on 2010...
