Late to the club, dear Captain, Abel, Art and KMII, but hopefully not too late…

What would happen if I would ask an Italian master watchmaker to create a watch that embodied La Dolce Vita?

Perhaps he would craft a rather unique watch: it would have a built-in espresso machine, a compartment for tiramisu and would play the sound of waves.

At 3 PM the watch would pop out a tiny umbrella and an automated voice would say, "It's time for your siesta, Signore."

The only problem? The necessary case size… 😎

And once again a nice topic, on which I immediately can think of four watches that are very different...

First of all, my newest acquisition - my AP ROO Black Ceramic wearing in a very … lazy (Dolce Vita) status.

Then my Rolex GMT II enjoying the pleasures of life ☺️🙏

Then perhaps my Blancpain FF which is a fantastic sports watch (even in RG).

And last but not least a watch which is always a pleasure to wear - quasi „dolce vita 24/7“: my beloved GP Tourbillon Three Bridges.

Cheers
Thomas
