Lesser known watches from a Lesser known brand
Doxa is a fairly obscure brand. Their watches (both vintage and modern) are better known for the dive watches, especially the recent reissues which are gaining popularity.
Their vintage dress watches however fly quite under the radar, and many of their "Anti-Magnetique" range remain affordable. Bigger "jumbo" versions (36mm and up) are a little harder to find, but not too difficult.
Over the past year, I've fallen under their spell, and acquired a few of their 'jumbo' vintage dress watches. From black to white to tropical dials, from copper to patina-ed dials, whether subseconds or centre-seconds, they come with a wide range of typefaces (including some charming art-deco fonts). And I like them all!
