I am wearing this today, after a long long time.....maybe 5 years. Photo shot yesterday.
Not a GMT
Not Swiss
In fact, not even mechanical...yup a quartz
It is a Seiko Perpetual Calendar from 2000
Ironically, it is this very simple quartz watch which made me love, learn and delve more into horology.
My first true love and beater, I wore it day-in day-out for about 5 years straight before I retired it into the safe. Not that it is expensive or anything, but the sentimental value that makes it a must-keep forever. Love it too much to let it see further abuse.

Whenever I visit my mum she knows it will involve a trip to her local F&C place...we used to go to Harry Ramsdens but it's not as popular these days, it used to always be a 1hr cue to get in with chandeliers inside and a pianist playing in the corner....
