. . . purchased in late '65 or early '66 according to Pops. It had never been serviced and was still running, but apparently had a great deal of wear and in dire need of an overhaul. The watchmaker had to add an extension to the case wrench in order to unscrew the back . . . the gasket had decomposed, so the back was 'frozen' in place. All is well now, though, and I've been enjoying it almost nonstop for the last week . . . cordially, Art
