While the natural choice for this would be one of the Grand Seiko's, someone here (wink, wink) gave me a wonderful alternative idea...
So let's start with the 'Orient is Red' variety 
You can see that there has been some hard use at 'the front' the watch already went through
On the other hand, this may well be my first picture here with the conventional 10 past 10 hand placement - here a result of the watch being both hand wound and in need of a little TLC, before it accompanies the next VVS pilot on a combat mission
And just because a non-Swiss WS would not be complete without something from further East, here's a wristshot from my current frequent flyer
The SBGH035 is a real joy to wear, in spite of the slightly onconventional thickness. And just to keep with the non-Swiss theme, another static (although the cufflinks have been purchased in Switzerland, of all places

With a hint of German baroque and lots of Saxonian warmth. Where a Zeitwerk would be pure Prussia, this is definitely much more representative of where it comes from
There is definitely some warmth, and even richness, to it.
So Baroque...perhaps. Now then, is it appropriate for "Lulu"? The opera is rich, but harsh.
There's only one Lulu . . .
. . . that I know of . . . Lulu is no lemon . . . and she's more pop than opera ;-) . . .
Classically German and easily takes down 99% of its Swiss counterparts

Great theme that should remind us that there are great watches outside Swiss. 1) German made, Sinn U1 Classic near indestructible diver. Oh, the Germans also have "some" nice cars. I'm more addicted to Audi than any other (car or not) brand. Love to play ...

But a German rebuild rather than brand new, as it appears that it still has the old main gun - 44 calibre, IIRC as opposed to the longer ones for new production.
