I'm a fan of Reversos, but when use is made of both sides then they're even what they were destined for. Cheers JML

. . . manual winding chronograph movements there have been in the history of watchmaking. Chances are you're wearing the sole example. Art

. . . for the life of me, I can't recall a single shaped chronograph movement other than Jaeger's. I really must be behind the times!

While not fully rectangular, it is certainly shaped (i.e. not round), and manually wound, too.

. . . but the movements fitted, including the ref 2396 mono-pusher chrono, are round to the best of my knowledge. There are a number of shaped case manual winding chronographs, but other than the Reverso, I can't think of a single example that ensconces a... 

How are we supposed to compete? Got my new watch today but no pictures yet - tomorrow...

I consider this an oldie: Tritium lume, nice patina. Forgot to bring it back to rotation, after a well deserved stay on the SPA. It returned smooth and amazing accurate. Fresh picture. 13 minutes old: An old static picture, still with the SS bracelet. Ano...

While I agree with Nico that it would be even better without the date (I mean combat pilots should know on what date they fly anyway), it is a lovely piece and generally refreshing in a world so often populated by Breitling these days.

And the funny thing is that it is only a partial family picture. You have a bit more of Vintage Memos, if my memory serves me well: Parking, blue dialed E 875, and I am pretty sure you also have a E 871. Without forgetting the E 851. Impressive, my friend...
