As for cards, there is only one game I still enjoy - tarock. But then you need a minimum of three (four is better) to play properly and I am not well enough organised for that at the moment...

The combinations are superb, all of them. Although I have to say that the Breguet / Alfa and the Reverso truly kill me I am humbled Have a great weekend and looking forward to individual posts on these!

. . . as original specimens were never easy to find, and practically impossible now. Not many vintage Omegas left on my list; an RAF (and there were a few) would be a natural complement to my 2179 that's finally running properly after three years of tinke...

. . . and it's the classic reference every Omega collector should have: their first automatic chronomètre. There are a few more in the watchmaker's pipeline that have already been shared on the Omega forum, but not here on WS as they're not ready for prim... 

. . . for the US Army, Nicolas. There were a few purely civilian models (delineated by a 2179 reference number without a -x ), but chances are almost certain any 2179 you find will have US military roots. The distinction between those with a 'US Army' eng...
