The Cartier clocks started appearing in Lincolns in 1969 but the first couture Lincolns were only produced in 1976, as you said.
Even though Lincoln is best known for this trend (persevering till 2003) they were not the first - AMC had both a Gucci and a Cardin edition out in 1972.

The Hammerhead is very nice ...
A way too flashy for my discrete taste but I love it. The M 22mm is a very nice lens. I tried to replace it with a 40mm (with the amazing expensive adapter) but is not that nice for my style of wrist shots. Cheers, Nilo
