I thought I have a great idea.
Get a look-a-like watch wear it for a period of time if I like it then I'll go get the real deal. Don't like it then no deal. Perfect isn't it? Low cost low risk. Nothing can in wrong. I'm a genius.
Well ... everyting could go wrong went wrong. I found out not only I'm not a genius but I have just about as much iq as a potato.
Not only I didn't get the real experience of the original it actually ruined the thought of having the original.
Why? What went wrong you ask?
I failed to consider that if I'm not wearing the original I can't lie to myself that I'm. Soon enough I got tired of lying to myself or trick my brain.
However damages have been done. The idea of ever owning a GMT is pretty much killed by my act of trying it thru this watch.
Disgusting myself from appreciating an iconic watch is all I did from this silly idea of mine :-(
