another day, another airport (27 hours ago). It's often ironically lonely to be a horological road warrior, and evangelist even if PuristS have the advantage of having friends all over the world... A small consolation is to have these micro friends always...

I toyed with picking up a Perigraph (I think that's what their model is called) that has the single hand display and rotating date disc. Cheers, Daos

fairly unique. there are a lot of companies doing single handers now, but the Meistersingers are my favourite due to the sharpness of the hand and ease of reading. they remind me of pressure gauges. best Graham

I actually ordered the Stowa, but the watchmaker they used to change the Unitas to central second passed away.. and I could not receive my watch. They made a kind of lottery who could purchase..I missed out... It's also not a Laco..though am keen on one.....

i had the laco 55mm 1939 observor watch in my military collection, but its totally unwearable. mine had the original long 'over the jacket sleeve' strap on it so i couldnt have worn it if i'd wanted too. the price of them now is unbelievable. an Archimede...
