price of a watch shouldn't be ...
... shouldn't be the key factor when getting a watch. just trust our feel about that.
i remember Kong (Chopard's moderator) told me how to decide which watch we are going to get, he said don't buy a watch at the first sight, if you are still thinking of that watch after returning home, then go to the shop again and leave it there and go home again, after several cycles of this process, you are still thinking of that watch, then that is the ONE!

fairly unique. there are a lot of companies doing single handers now, but the Meistersingers are my favourite due to the sharpness of the hand and ease of reading. they remind me of pressure gauges. best Graham

I actually ordered the Stowa, but the watchmaker they used to change the Unitas to central second passed away.. and I could not receive my watch. They made a kind of lottery who could purchase..I missed out... It's also not a Laco..though am keen on one.....

i had the laco 55mm 1939 observor watch in my military collection, but its totally unwearable. mine had the original long 'over the jacket sleeve' strap on it so i couldnt have worn it if i'd wanted too. the price of them now is unbelievable. an Archimede...
