I find lizard works better with simple dials, like this Cal 89. ...  

I really does work best on vintage, simple dials. A beautiful and rarely seen IWC.

I find lizard straps often hard to match, but this one was a fortuitous match.

For the DSA: For the tricolor Cheers 😊 ...  

Your first photo is what got me to go with the white strap for the DSA. So, for me, that's the winner, but I am incredibly biased here. For the El Primero, I prefer the second one, but both are great.

Is it the Molequin dove grey? I have one too but never thought to try it on the Tricolor... Now I will!

it's from Hodinkee. i also have the dove grey from Molequin, it's a bit darker from this one. but the Molequin's dove grey will pair nicely too cheers

What unfortunately is lost a little in the photo is the fact that the color of the strap exactly matches the color of the rubies on the dial. This way the strap even somehow respects the nature of the watch. Have a great weekend my dear friend, Martin
