Yes, each one was acquired in the region the artist works, but to be honest, I do not know enough about them to fully appreciate why one would cost thousands of dollars and why another similar pot would cost a couple of hundred. I kind of cheat when I go into a small shop and just ask them to show me the absolute best teapot they have on sale. They usually bring out some pots costing perhaps $700 each at first, and then I ask them to go back and really think about it, and just bring me the single most best teapot they have. I would definitely not classify myself as a collector as I have very few, and know nothing.
