But, even if this one is the best modern Speedmaster I have seen in years.... Its "only" my second choice when it comes to the CK2998! In fact, this one is so good that I have serious thoughts of going for this one instead of waiting to find an affordable...

... I placed an order long ago for both the Snoopy and this lovely 2998 version. I guess I need to be more patient... the Snoopy arrived just a couple of days ago... this one... I was told will come in September/October. Patience is part of the "Sport" of...

I think it is one of the ultimate tool watches out there... I have worn this one for more than 100 dives now and even in the arctic, I have even worn it with a jacket or hiking in Africa. Its a great watch. Cheers Andrew

It's my friend watch and he wanted me to wear it during lunch. We went to a vintage watch shop just prior and it was between this and a lovely SS 1675. This one won over and I couldn't be more happy for him. He's still looking for a 1675. the 1675 cheers ...  

but there is a better one on its way.
