I was surprised how cool the case is. Often overlooked in favor of the showcase dials, but the combo of brushed and polished surfaces, the angles, and the way it all comes together can be a star on its own.

Let me play with two of my 'oldest' Patek this week, as I immediately liked their new shoes and never went back to the original ones:
Patek 5119R and 5124G, for which I asked for some light blue and flashy red new shoes, respectively (both kindly sent complimentary by Patek), so to make their looks a tad less formal... Cheers. ...
