Zenith Cal 135 and Longines
...certainly the special ones among the 4. I have yet to see another steel Zenith Cal 135 in that size (normally 35mm), and the Longines is simply.....a Longines. For me the most innovative watchmaker between 40-60s and simply the best in terms of quality. I don't think even Patek gets close to Longines in terms of innovation, cutting-edge technology, quality and breadth of movements in the 40s and 50s.

... but my guess is: - it takes time, expenses, to have each watch certified for Chronometer (just for the paper that says so) - realizing that it is accuracy and reliability that consumers want, NOT the paper, some manufacturers have started their own te...

... accuracy and reliability over other factors, such as aesthetics, design, brand value, story, and own taste..... For some, +/- 30 sec per day is out of question. But for other some, +/- 3 sec per WEEK is not the deciding factor over its origin, design,...
