I like this version of the DEFY Rainbow.

This watch was a small release version of the Defy Classic. It came out the first year Dufour was at Zenith. You should be able to see it in the first small black catalog. I believe the "yellow" segment was actually made orange slightly by mistake but also to more closely match the hands. The DEFY Classic AERO used Red hands instead of Orange hands like the original Rainbow flyback. The Defy Rainbow has slightly orange hands. Perhaps one reason they released this watch was to get rid of some of the cases they had left over from the classic series, but who knows. Personally I love this version of the DEFY as the shiny black dial really jumps and the numbers stand out much better than the texted dial of the DEFY classic series. If you love the look of the Rainbow series from the 90s like I do, (I have 3) I would get this watch. Enjoy!

btw...this is really a nice version of Zenith's Defy. I guess it's from late Nataf era because the first ones had different hands. This hands I like more. Unfortunately on the 2nd market not many pieces are available on this version. No overlapped totalis...
