That was actually the 'Tribute to Louis Blériot', a controversial piece...
presented at BaselWorld 2015:
Despite its size, I think its problematic because (in essence take from my presentation of this watch (here )):
- the dial lacks a bit of 'spice' with its monochromatic concept: grey oligochrome with (very few) red accents?
- meteorite has only a faint correlation with aviation, and no connection to Blériot. A dial made of laminated walnut wood would, for example, be more appropriate, and this was one major innovation that ensured Blériot's success (for the first time, he used a propeller made of this material, it was the first European propeller to rival the efficiency of the propellers used by the Wright Brothers).
- the artistic implementation of the engraving work, which looks a bit scattered over the vast surfaces on the pocket watch sized movement, while not making full use of the available area. Furthermore, the here and there engraved seagulls could be interpreted as a give-away that Zenith was aware of this.
Somehow I think a missed opportunity.

You know me... There was a part of provocation, in my comparison...
But even the first iteration is exagerated.... The original was 41 mm big. This one is what 55 mm? 60 mm? Ok, I did understand that the movement size commanded a big case, but at this point? And the purity of the dial from the original is lost in the mode...

I think two years ago: There, the subdials look actually better integrated into the dial as with the original 'Special', don't you think? Best, Magnus ...
The point of the watch was to pay homage to the watch AND to use the caliber 5011
The use of the caliber 5011 leads to this size and to the power reserve indicator. Fx
