Well, I chose an interesting JLC watch, produced a rather short period, between 2005-2008. At it's time this timepiece represented a new sportsline by LGM.
The design was fresh, avantgarde, even audacious, a compressor case
and also included JLCs signature complication, an alarm,
with a quarter circle alarm scale, passing by the stable alarm marker @ 10.
This piece also featured a completely new concept for the crowns,
by using a turning gasket within the crown, utilizing 2 white/red colored
markings, signaling the crown's gasket position, sealing or
releasing the crowns.
The appeal of these crowns gave the watch a very characteristic note,
something new, a bit shiny, but a sportive note.
- The name of this Tic-tac: Master Compressor Memovox ( MCM)
The designer of this model, plus several other JLC more daring time-pieces
were done by a gifted young and charming JLC designer - lady,
by the name of Megali Metrailler.
Those, who had the privilege to know her in person, (AFAIK, Nico does)
were full in praise of her skills, but also taken by the charme of her
appeal & personality..
Here a pic taken at one of the introductory presentations of the MCM.

An absolutely lovely & charming lady..

The MCM, as one of her design babies,
was a pretty underrated watch, with only a rather short
production period of 4 years, AFAIK. - Maybe also under-marketed ?
To me, not completely clear, as it represents a great combination
of tool & unconventional but solid watch, just with a bit of bold appeal.
Only later, the Compressor principle came to new honors,
& was again used in a number of other sportive models,
more on the tool & diving side.
Now without further ado,
here my own MCM (from 2007); for me a great
daily beater and appreciated companion.

Really like this strong but balanced appeal

MCM - Pleasure on the wrist.
Hope, you weren't bored by these dwellings,
just felt, that the design object itself & the
character & conceptual thoughts of the designer
are interesting, when put into perspective.
Cheers, Best & HAGWE to all !
