Quite a different genre from what's posted so far
...but it's opera singers for me---too many favourites to enumerate, but here's some
the famous Czech soprano Novotna who sang with Tauber and i had the great fortune to meet in New York when she was in her eighties
to more current singers like Varady,Krauss,Anderson who i managed to catch at the opera
not forgetting the just retired Caballe and one of my current favourites,the relatively unknown and underrated latvian Galante
Fortunately,all are accessible by cds ,etc.

These two bands have given me tons of enjoyment the last 4-5 years. LSD all met in jazz conservatory in Boston. Alynda Segarra (HFTRR) was a Bronx street kid who moved to New Orleans as a teenager and found her voice.

Her tastes are more attuned to Herb Alpert . . .
. . . and the Moody Blues, so yes, it was a bit odd she'd take to HftRR.
On top of that, she was taken by Padj's likeness. "He seems like such a nice man."
So now I have approval to visit Padj on the East Coast without bringing her along.

These two are kind of outliers for me as most of what I listen to was recorded between "Highway 61 Revisited" and the death of Jon Bonham. There is a band called "Sweet Cecilia" that's caught my attention recently. And Bonsoir Catin. Can't seem to add videos to this reply for some reason.

My music tastes are very eclectic: pop, jazz, and a bit of classic music.
But if I should choose just one name I would mention The Beatles. I was a very young fourteen years old lad when the first songs and pictures arrived to my land bringing the news that four young guys were revolutioning pop music forever. The 1960`s were wonderful and revolutionary years indeed!
Listening The Beatles today still brings me joy and memories of those far years of my youth and about a very different world to the one we live today.
The watches I will play for this W/S: Submariners! My dream watch since I was so young in those years in high school when I dreamed with becaming an sport scuba diver and was looking forward to the next week end to enjoy dancing with a girl friend while listening the the Beatles music.
I never dreamed I would became a watch collector so many years later though.
