I've seen only two other steel ref 2852 Constellations with engraved black dials . . .
. . . fitted with rose gold furniture. Not a common sight, for sure . . .

First ran across Black Connie on TZ in '05 when she was owned by Phil C, . . .
. . . falling instantly for the gorgeous dial. Tried to acquire BC from him without success; several months later, Bill Sohne ended up getting her. We were able to work out a cash deal, and the rest, as they say, is history.

My brother will be here in a few hours . . .
. . . for a family gathering, and spending the weekend with us, Abel. It'll be a quiet weekend mostly at home.
I've just pulled the trigger on another '50s Omega with an engraved black dial that should arrive in a week or so. It's not in good shape mechanically; will have to wait for my watchmaker to tend to it before it's ready to wear.
