Today I’m wearing dads tissot.
Bought dad this watch as a gift some 15-20 yrs ago and can’t say I ever remember seeing him without it on his wrist. As you can see it was well worn daily and without any issues other than the odd battery change. Dad passed earlier this year and so now this one is the pride of my collection.

Nothing from my Dad seeing as he’s still around,
but here’s my Grandfather’s watch, along with the Speidel bracelet he wore it on day-in and day-out in his tailor shop until it broke.

. . . mine, a Zenith pocket watch ca 1927.
It doesn't run because the regulator is missing, but I'll make sure to get that remedied before I hang up collecting altogether.
Btw, Grandpa's father was a watchmaker, and Grandpa himself was an apprentice watchmaker before his Dad died at an early age.

The funny thing is, I was fascinated by watches as a child . . .
. . . but didn't know my great-grandfather was a watchmaker until my early thirties. So yes, I believe the passion was passed on from one generation to the next - with two missing steps in-between!
