new aquisitions for new years day...and i waited until 1/1/10 to post them :)
i'm wearing 2 at the moment. on my left wrist is my new Azimuth BIT1, pic taken a few minutes ago as time and date will show. none of this posting early while i'm still sober
and on the right wrist is a watch that arrived on the 30th, a 1964 Seiko 1 button chronograph made for the Tokyo Olympics. a couple of firsts for this watch so suitable for the 1st day of the year and 1st wristshot. the first Olympics Seiko timed and the first chronograph made by Seiko. handwind 1 minute timer. very nice condition other than the worn edge to the plastic bezel. i will post more later on the new Oriental watches page.....oops, just dreaming there for a minute

Well, the Azimuth doesn't sing very loud to me, but the Seiko Chrono!!!
I have to say that it is the first I really find attractive!
No intent to be harsh with this brand, but till now, till your pic, I wasn't impressed at all.
BUT THIS CHRONO!!!

i didnt think you'd like...
far to the funky side for your traditionalist views, but the Seiko is a nice
piece. simple, basic, but works and looks good. prices are pretty cheap as
chips. its only fault is the cheap bezel although Bill Sohne had one with a
steel bezel. i'll be searching for a replacement at some stage. i'll write
something about it when we have a quiet patch.

arrive that i've paid for and 1 on order thats not ready for production quite
yet. there is one advantage with my current situation, i only have to think
