Would love to try out both Rivian and Lucid at some point. They both suffer from arriving a tad too late, when money was no longer free, so unlike Tesla they couldn’t get all the necessary investments covered under that period. They apparently make better vehicles so here goes hoping that VW (in case of Rivian) and the Saudi sovereign wealth fund (in case of Lucid) keep the money flowing until both become self supporting 🤞🏻

Investors who bought at launch paid $59/share are now sitting at $3.50, while their highest performance model is $250k and does 0-60 in 1.9 seconds.

That they are not increasing sales nearly fast enough. And that will only happen when the new, smaller and cheaper models enter the market. Same as it was with Tesla - only once the Model 3 and Y took off, did it become a viable venture.
