I think one has to feel a connection with its style
especially depending on the oufit you'll wear it with.

I prefer thinner fabric with a nice suit
or with jeans (whatever the jacket) as I also like the contrast modern/classical and the fact they have the blue color in common.
Of course any smart (or suit) trousers with a nice shirt is perfect too...
But I imagine the only limitation is not a jogging baggy sweats

So do I.
All bespoke suits I have, are from thinnest possible material. The "everyday" suits are another thing.
