Have been lurking on this site for some years now (this is my first post) but have to say that this purchase (some 2 months ago) was inspired by all of you here (especially Dr. Kol) - loving the watch (bracelet and all)! My 5712 has been quite neglected ...

Thanks! Was a bit of a struggle initially deciding to get this watch - I was very much struck by the dial (very Paul Newmanish as some have suggested and great legibility) and like many others initially put off by the bracelet. But over time, I have come to like the bracelet both because it is very comfortable and also as it has a bit of a retro feel (resembling the bracelets of some of the older steel chronograph references). Plus the bracelet is very practical for summer!

I thought I would swap to a strap immediately but I finally love this bracelet for the exact same reasons!
Although I have the watch for only a few days, I'm sure I will keep this bracelet for a long time !

I don't own one but tried it several times. It is not really the kind of thing I usually wear but, with the right outfit, it can look really good I think. So I totally understand what your saying and what JC said as well.

This retro thing is indeed something to feel: very 1980's but so cool if you feel it right.

Kari told me this watch was one of the most comfortable and the bracelet is indeed very smooth on the wrist.
