As you say, the "Grand Exhibition" terms are not oversold and I really appreciate what Patek has done to promote fine watchmaking throught this event.
During a time when the watch field needs it, they have shown their strengh even more.
The number of pieces is always an issue. Too high is not good but too low and too many people would be frustrated and sepculation would thrive even more. The balance here, considering the demand for such Patek pieces, is imho perfect.
We usually want to have a 10-piece edition while being accepted to get it in the mean time. That's a tougher situation. The number should be seen considering the demand, overall volumes etc...
It is a less elitist approach for such a brand which is already difficult to get to regarding limited editions of all kind.
