Yes it is original,I asked for a Matt navy blue strap and they offered that,No stitching no padding perfect for the watch era.

Firstly, congratulations on getting this watch. A steel, manual wind amagnetic vintage from Patek Philippe. It is as rare as it is exquisite. Congratulations to you.
Series 1 and Series 2 3417s are close-to the epitome of Calatrava collecting. In fact, i would go as far as to say that with this one in the bag, hunting other Calatravas will have an edge taken away. You have probably one of the coolest watches made by Patek Philippe. Massive congratulations to you!

You joined the club long before me.But it’s never to late.I am sure this watch will not be the last vintage nor the last Calatrava but as you said hunting another Calatrava will be hard from now on ,to find a reference with the same charm hmmm who knows.For now I will enjoy the winter with this
