It will be one of my almost daily wear watches. The winding mechanism is especially smooth. It needs to be 40mm to remain legible!

Yes Patek really came through when it mattered. My dealer received only one piece this year so I am pleased and fortunate to have this beauty.

Yes I too am looking forward to what Patek will be doing with the Calatrava line after
they discontinued so many references last year. I had to read my post again and I apologise for misleading you into thinking I have Patek minute repeaters. I meant the current Patek collection rather than my current collection!! A minute repeater like the 5078G will probably remain a holy grail and would be quite unattainable for me in the forseeable future.

It is always good to see Patek coming up with something fresh. This is what the watch community looks forward to and needs. For now, I have only worn the watch to have the photos taken because I can only collect the watch from the airport when I depart the UK on Monday. In this way, I only had to pay the tax free price of the watch rather than having to reclaim the tax later. I have a strange feeling from next Monday onwards I shall be looking at my wrist a lot!!
