The dial is uncommonly clean for a perpetual calendar.
The Parmigiani Toric may lack the advanced technical features of some of its competitors, but the watch is extremely easy on the eyes. This is the most attractive perpetual calendar dial I've ever seen.
The new Toric line is shaping up nicely, outside of the high retail prices.

The hour and the minute display is front and center for reading time at a glance. The perpetual calendar information is secondary and in the background which allows the gorgeous color and graining of the dial to be the star of the show.

The design is growing on me.
I am not offended by the subdials being below the center line. I do think it is an odd juxtaposition to have this beautifully clean and open dial marked with two highly populated and hard to read subdials. I guess that is my hesitation on loving it. One thing is for sure, that profile shot of the case - perfection!
