For sure the WG or SS will go way under the radar.
The movement is arguably more interesting than a RWS (which is a true masterpiece, as you say) and the escapement specifically is clearly horologically superior by a big step.

One that is tempting me as well. I suppose without the need for lubricant, the movement probably doesn’t need to be serviced very often
Thanks, yes, that's one benefit.
Although, the gear train still needs lubrication, the escapement is completely free of it. As for servicing, the first service is free as Richard wants to see how everything is holding up under real world conditions. I have a feeling it will be quite a while before he sees it back, though!
