I’ve never tried it on but this is clearly NOT a thin, elegant (and bit boring) watch like a Calatrava or JLC extra flat.
The Georg plays in another league, as I wrote yesterday in another thread the bridges are THE benchmark.

I actually love the case design and dial side too though. Especially if it's customizable to be closer to what is in the OP.
I really do prefer round watches
and that's the only thing I'm not so sure of when it comes to this watch.
It's gorgeous and the finishing is impeccable.
But as said ... rectangular is something I don't like very much. I like my Parmigiani Ionica and Chronoswiss Digiteur but always somehow wished they were round.

The brand is German's best kept secret !
Personally, I would not buy an independent brand where the founders are no longer there, especially if the brand has their names in their trademark.
Otherwise, these are incredible watches and I have been to their shop in the city centre of Dresden.

Sorry not an owner but I do think the Lang & Heyne Georg is really beautiful from both sides.
I wasn't even aware of this company until Bruno M2's great report post on them, but I really like and appreciate the fact that you are able to truly customise a watch to what you want. The only thing that bothers me about this watch is that it does indeed look very thick.

experience with the Georg but it is so beautiful, especially from the back.
I did customize a Friedrich III and IIRC there was a little delay in the delivery time (Indicated=10 months, Actual=13 months).
The overall experience was very positive - from the regular updates, to picking it up in Germany.

Very pretty watch that I owned for a short while
The watch definitely wears large, however, this is somewhat mitigated by the curvature of the case. The movement is gorgeous and inspired by one of Christian Kling's movements. My issue with the brand is more philosophical as both founders are no longer with the manufacturer.
