Horological Meandering

Does my Arsa look big in these photos?

It's only 34mm so by todays standards it is rather small. I saw this Arsa recently and couldn't resist it. I had never seen a Braille watch before so I found it to be quite novel.

Pressing the button between 2:00 and 3:00 opens the face of the watch so that one can feel the raised dots on the dial and the position of the hands. The hands are thicker and stronger than typical watch hands since they are meant to be touched.

The movement is a Unitas 6497. It is considered a good workhorse movement due to its' ruggedness and has been used by many manufacturers over the years.

Finally a picture of the case back. There is nothing particularly special or interesting about it but I figured I'd include it anyway.

Thanks for looking at my Arsa. I hope you found it interesting.
