I actually like the new movement - it is the tourbillion one without the tourbillion ... Obviously less lavishly finished but still up there. My big concern with the LF automatics has always been the fancy escapement and the ability to service it in the long term.
There are very few modern PP watches that I like. Let's just say that this is not one of them ...
LF without a doubt. That PP design is not refined enough, and that writing on the caseback, OMG! Maybe compared to a Calatrava, my choice would be different! Best, E. [nt]
I would go with the LF. I do like the titanium case. The low WR, manual movement, and style of decoration are not things I care for. I’d much rather have a Galet Square with the micro-rotor movement.
The PP only makes sense to buy and flip. I’d hate to live with it as a keeper. The LF is something I’d enjoy wearing.
I am a LF fan, but for his better movement, so this not so sporty dress is quite dull. In this case i favor the Patek, much more sporty, blue, date and a nicer movement to watch ;-) [nt]
