Those two are keepers for sure! I got rid of several pieces in the past year to remove the ones where passion was gone or simply never fully materialized! I look at all of them almost every day now...

The good sign for now is every time I pick a watch from the collection I tend to enjoy wearing it several days in a row as opposed to switching everyday. I feel much stronger passion about each one I kept compared the several I let go!
Thanks. I must say I have made quite a few “bad decision for my taste” along the way! Sometime it is only by owning. Watch that you can truly know if you actually like it!

I have a PPT, an Excel and a note to keep track of my collection and look at them everyday 😂😂😂

However what I’m missing is your discipline. I kept telling myself: buy what you love and one more won’t harm...and everyone I try to let go something my sentiment started to kick in big time. 😂 So I end up in a ridiculous situation now, as you said, like a museum curator, I even made a print catalogue 🤦🏻
I am a 1 or 2 watch guy to be honest. Sometimes I end up with more but try to keep it to below 2! I am a bit of a minimalist and hate owning too many things as it just complicates life. IE having to transport them between safety deposit box + home.
Curiosity and composition matter more to me than discipline

Since most of life's choices are shaped by a host of considerations, I want my watch experience to be as untrammelled as possible. The only things limiting that experience are availability, budget and mortality.
Ever since acquiring the Lange 1815 Chronograph, I’ve become a bit chronograph-heavy. The Lange has really caught my fancy, so I’m deliberating letting go of two chronographs.

Plus, I just ordered a special piece that might arrive in a year or two, so I will be needing to make room.
