Here, if I had to choose, I would go for the Black.

For historical reasons or because you prefer the look of the Black
By: JohnFM : January 17th, 2023-00:16
... or both? I was initially drawn to the Blue but now that I see the original ...

Well, because I find the black is more " deep ", better contrast. I fear to get rid of the Blue quickly.

38 mm is such a nice size for most. Only think that the hour hand is a bit too long?
By: hoseachandra : January 16th, 2023-22:34
And i really don't mind if they charge a few couple more and put applied markers though

Well, the vintage also had a long hour hand, so for me, not a problem. Same for the hour markers.

I think you can say the same for a lot of diving watches. Look at the first Blancpain and Rolex diving watches... Look at the first Seamaster 300 and the Deep Sea Alarm...

By: Esharp : January 18th, 2023-15:24
I’m blown away. And intrigued. Who knows? Would have to see it in the metal, on my wrist.
Perhaps, for the man who has nothing to prove, it is perfect.
(Am I that man? Or am I the man who wants to prove that I am the man with nothing to prove? Hmmm…)
Best

Lots to like with this one, great size, no date & hands are spot on.
By: jml_watches : January 17th, 2023-09:12
Particularly struck by the blue dial.
Cheers

Regular production. In the press release, it was not specified that it was a LE, black, or blue.
