As for the Duo Metre, the platinum didn't already arrived...Need to wait a bit more, i'm afraid...
But I have some watches which will help me to wait, for sure...LOL
Best, my friend.

........as you can see the weather here is great - perfect "pilot weather"
as I am a man of habits I enjoy wearing this on week-ends. in the pic the power reserve is down five days. during the week-end it wil refuel itself to "full"
due to the powerfull winding system and so it will be ready again next week-end
HAGWE everyone!
all the best

On a big wrist, this IWC is indeed hard to beat, as a Pilot Watch...
Congrats!
Nicolas
you are a genuinely nice guy
IMO it is THE modern pilots watch big and heavy with an impressive slow beat movement - the ticking from this watch is music - really !!!! it is not for every day busy life, it almost has too much presense, so I like to wear it when I have the time to enjoy it.
here are a few more for you

Every time I look at this watch, it always make me smile. Colorful always bright up my day.
Thanks and Cheers.
Ive been looking at that one - I love the colours. A lot of joy in that watch - congratulations
Kind regards

Hi Nicolas,
I little relief from the heat yesterday but it is still early and the heat is coming.
Got the 232 on today.
HAGWE
This reproduction always remind me of its grandpa...3646. Can't wait to have it on tomorrow.
Cheers
just awaiting delivery of a 'destroyed calfskin' from Taikonaut to change the character of the watch. its not a panerai( its also not an RXW or Marina Militaire Panerai rip off ), but i seem to already be catching the Paneristi's bug for straps for all occasions. very hard to photograph due to its 3.5mm domed sapphire crystal.

i often wear a 2nd watch on the right wrist when i'm at home(which is most of the time) and today its my Grand Seiko 45 calibre manual wind 36000 hi-beat.

and yesterday it was my Lord Marvel manual wind 36000 hi- beat which has a lovely fast, but solid tick.

finally, a big thankyou to whoever chooses the masthead pics. i got the shock of my life this morning when i logged on and saw my GS57 starring at me. i feel truly honoured.
i'm on a bit of a high as today is the last day for any work to be done since our fire. just the decorator finishing off ready for my parents to visit on monday.
only stair carpet to replace in a couple of weeks. it will be nice for them to visit a freshly renovated and decorated house. the down side is that i only have my MIH fund and nothing else left to fuel the addiction
have a wonderful weekend everyone.
Graham, writing from a surprisingly sunny Wales, a rare occurrence indeed.
Hi All,
I took the most beautiful wrist shot today...flying along the beach past the Gold Coast...using my mobile phone...thinking...it's Friday and we are 10 hours ahead of GMT / UTC and I want to get a shot flying below the buildings....and be the first to load up.
Did all that...got a great shot.....landed...arrived and guess what?
I left the cable at home..that I need to down load the photo.
So.....@Q#*%*........ please imagine a beautiful sunny day with 8/8ths of Blue sky and a Breguet 5817 Marine with the highest highrise in the southern hemisphere as the background, surrounded by a magnificent blue sky and lots of beautiful tropical blue water and golden sandy beaches as a foreground.
Some people just never get it together....today I was one of those people.
Kindest regards to all,
Jack
