A great collection of Navi's Fred. It won't surprise you to know my favourite is the 1955 all black dial.
Yours is in gorgeous condition. What a stunner! I always think these early Navi's don't get the sort of love they deserve, compare them to say the obsession people show over Speedmaster details - not to mention Submariner variations. Also in 1954 this watch must have felt HUGE! Breitling pioneered the big watch.

Scott Carpenter - okay it's a Cosmonaut, but it was called a Navi first!

I want it the VC overseas Chrono, and I couldn't justify keeping both so I swap it. This Navi has a unique complication though is not an annual and is not a perpeteual. It's a 4 year calendar (1461) Very convenient, although legibility is not the best.
Anyway, thanks for showing us your Navi collection, is for sure impressive.

I've been a fan of Navitimers since the late 1990's, but only found one that I wanted and could afford about 6 years ago. I really fell for the 19022 model line on a trip to London in 2002 where many watch stores had them in full gold cases; looked great but cost a fortune that I didn't have at the time. And, given that that model line were all limited editions, by the time I thought about seriously finding one, there were very few around. Anyway, here is a photo of my D19022 Navitimer 1461:

Let me add a missing reference to this amazing post
Navitimer 8806 Black PVD Case circa 1975, came on a black white stitch strap originally, I installed a Vintage Breitling bracelet to it.
This is the second black case 8806 I've seen, both sold by the same AD, according to the now defunct navitimer.net 3 were made. Also seen a Navitimer 1806 and 7806 in factory black pvd case
