For modern, I’d say duometre, tied possibly with reverso. For me reverso is so true to its vintage roots, that it’s hard to call it modern, even if it is.

But duometre is such a unique, special watch, and seems to be so admired by enthusiasts, that’s an easy on too. Why I say possibly reverso too is that there are so many stunning modern versions of this one. Some simple, like the rouge or the bleu, others with beautiful complications that are quite a delight.
