Seconde Centrale
Perhaps the 1931 Seconde Centrale is a clue to the future...
It uses automatic calibre 966 with central sweep seconds in a larger case. I wonder if this is what the future holds for the Reverso: A larger case, no more "old fashioned" sub seconds, etc. After all, Jaeger-LeCoultre tipped the Grande case with a special edition way back when.
But this is not too radical. Calibre 966 is a special movement - one of the smallest automatic movements out there. But again, not radical.
The current focus on moon phase complications suggests we'll see a Reverso Sun Moon or something of the sort...

And a pretty crazy one. Based on a Swiss Cuckoo Clok. Each hour, the little bird will go out of its nest.... And strike the hours.

get it out of you... JLC again exceed all my expectations in the fields of complex and innovative movements.

Geophysic models
I hear from multiple sources, including two boutique employees, that the Geophysic limited editions are the start of a new line for Jaeger-LeCoultre of Geophysic watches. Was there any discussion of this? I believe Jaeger-LeCoultre brass have also spoken of this...
Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if there were other more complicated models in the Geophysic case (smaller, brushed sides, etc) rather than the Master. And they these bore the Geophysic name. And I further wouldn't be surprised if the current steel Geophysic became "unlimited" with only minor tweaks from the current limited edition.
Any news on this front?

Who told me the Geophysic was coming in the first place!
Then I heard the same thing from anothe JLC boutique manager as he was trying to sell me his last Geophysic. He claimed JLC has manufactured more steel Geophysic watches in recent months and may have already exceeded the promised limit for that model. Not a good sales tactic but an interesting story.
I have other sources on the SS TT Geophysic, which confirmed me that it was one shot prod.
Of 800 pièces, no more...

since it would be an insult to buyers of the TT to offer the same watch in unlimited numbers. Perhaps he was mistaken and JLC is simply finishing up the 800 and not producing new ones.
No, they didn't. The misunderstanding lies in the fact that...
A LE of 800 pièces requires two or three production years, generally.
