I wonder if JLC will release another colored variant in the future.  If so, maybe yellow?  That's my prediction for the next color should there ever be another.

That would be stupendous! I agree with the comparison to RM too. I wore my Lab II several times with a friend who owns the RM011 FM Singapore edition and, despite them both having a skeletonized dial and similar red/black color schemes, my JLC looks substantially nicer side by side.

The RM 11 is a very cool watch, but way more expensive, and less technical than the JLC.

As for an annual calendar, plans may change, but I don't see JLC, today, or next year, introducing an annual calendar on their Watch.

I am impatient to see what JL has in the tube, for us, as for the Extrem Lab III.

Celestial is too traditional for an Extrem Lab.

The name " Extrem Lab " excludes, per nature, Tradition. It is all about innovation. And if you go too technical on a celestial dial, you loose the romantism of the complication.

There are better lines for a Celestial, at JLC.

I was just teasing referring to the Celestial theme that is evident among the many beautiful JLC pieces currently. I do seriously wonder what complication JLC will explore in the III though... Radial power reserve, GMT are already done... I want to see something really innovative and new. While the LAB  would look silly in a 40mm case, i think it could work nicely in a 42mm case? And does it have to be a MC case? I  personally dont think so... I think the case a d crown activation could be explored further. There so much innovation and tech for JLC to play with! 

The Compressor Case is an extrem case. But I would have nothing against a new case.

A minute repeater would certainly help... don't you think?

The article above is not quite right. There are two versions for retail by the old (red and gold) model. 

The color of the movement and the dial changed as well.

Which precipitated a reference change. The movement is ruthenium instead of the black originally shown. The first came with the black movement. A handful of, the production was too complicated then it was changed.

NEW Titanium version reference: Q203T540 
(instead of Q203T570) 

NEW Pink Gold version reference: Q2032540 
(instead of Q2032570) 

 

Movement dial side? Sorry, but no change.

Now, that is true that some blackened movements existed.

the model on your Picture is the 203T540 with ruthenium movement. the production change summer 2012. According JLC only a few watches were shipped with the black movement.

here is a picture from the 203T570 with black movement.


Now we agree. The new dial is not a big change with most of the former production.
