Hmmmmm….. what could it be?

Gyromatic? Alarm? Richeville? There are so many icons to be revisited!

All good GP icons…. Not sure it’s what GP needs today though?

 By: Cru Jones : February 21st, 2022-19:36

There are so many possibilities...

My two thoughts: Sea Hawk or world timer travel watch.

 By: Cru Jones : February 21st, 2022-19:40
But probably wishful thinking.  It GP had something so significant lined up, I doubt Kering would have let it go when they did.  This is probably just something little to create a little buzz (which it has).

I fear you are right, alas...

Sea hawk? Absolute?

I'd say the integrated bracelet is for granted.

Sea Hawk could make sense, IMO.

Hopefully not yet another three bridges variation

 By: mhz vph : February 21st, 2022-17:17
A return of the high frequency chronometer would be cool.

Well it depends on the tourbillon with bridges... If this is an awesome one... Why not?

 By: amanico : February 21st, 2022-17:22

I suppose so

 By: mhz vph : February 21st, 2022-19:16
We've just seen so many of those from GP that something different would be refreshing - even if it is another masterpiece.

Agreed! A modern iteration, even if the Neotourbillon was one of them.

Assuming the blatant red laser environment references the LED readout of their Only Watch offering from earlier this year?

 By: ifraher : February 21st, 2022-17:36
Same watch, slightly altered, unlimited?

or...

 By: VinnieD : February 21st, 2022-17:47

Oh yes!

 By: amanico : February 21st, 2022-18:39

The motion suggests a digital read out

 By: ifraher : February 21st, 2022-17:52
I wonder is this a novelty volume item considering the cost vs mechanical... could be a fun piece

I thought of the Casquette, too. I do hope that they won't associate Iconic with Quartz, though...

 By: amanico : February 21st, 2022-18:40

Well, Girard-Perregaux history suggests that they have every right to do so – Cal. GP-350

By: Pour le Mérite : February 21st, 2022-19:04

I agree that they made some Quartz movements, but linking a Quartz movement to an Icon... I don't know.

 By: amanico : February 21st, 2022-19:11

x2. GP has good history with quartz. But an “icon” for GP? Not really.

 By: Cru Jones : February 21st, 2022-19:34

That would not be a good image, in my opinion.

 By: amanico : February 21st, 2022-19:36

GS 9F movement is really good. But it’s ultra niche and not what GP needs.

 By: Cru Jones : February 21st, 2022-19:38

100% agree.

 By: amanico : February 21st, 2022-20:16

Gotta be the casquette after the onlywatch

 By: Dchang81 : February 21st, 2022-21:01

What came in my mind, too...

 By: amanico : February 21st, 2022-21:04

Actually i dont mind they re issue thw Casquette. Pretty cool

 By: hoseachandra : February 22nd, 2022-08:02
But they should add useful functions like timer, chronograph, world time, etc.

Maybe a smart watch?

 By: TeutonicCarFan : February 21st, 2022-18:58

That would not be so smart. ;)

 By: amanico : February 21st, 2022-18:59

It is indeed probably the Casquette. 🙄

 By: MCG (Markus) : February 21st, 2022-20:43
Fun, but as already said, ultra niche. No wonder that GP continues to deteriorate… 😑

It could be a good idea, but among other novelties. Not claimed as an Icon. Marketing Teams, once again...
