I'm still puzzled in front of such a diversity of styles and expressions.
Each of them represents a dream watch, but if I had to pick one, I would hesitate between 3 of them:
The Laureato, for its modern expression, almost a concept watch, to my eyes.
The Vintage 45 Tourbillon under a single bridge, with its awesome ruthenium dial.
The latest round offer, from this year, which is, to me, one of the nicest compromise between Tradition and Modernity, with its super brushed bezel, and these plain bridges.
I can't resist to add a 4th one, the WW TC enamel or not, which adds to the pleasure of having a friendly complication, the discrete beauty of the Tourbillon.
I do think that this kind of piece will represent the pinacke of my collection, one day, maybe.
For the moment, it is and remains a superb dream.
Best,
Nicolas.
Ask to your GP AD, he will tell you... But I fear it is a bit too late.
Best,
Nicolas
goes beyond JLC Nicolas and includes such treasures as the GP golden bridges. It's such an under-rated asethetic and technical wonder. It is one of those occasions where it's hard to choose between a discreet face (a ala the chronograph) or the 3-bridge dial where no time is wasted to unstrap the watch to enjoy its inner beauty. Such a seminal article about an important horologial creation and one to be archived for sure. Thanks for your obession Nicolas!
PS sorry for the super late response as I somhow dd not see this earlier. Better late than never!

Sorry, but I just checked some informations for a post to come, and I noticed your answer.
I was never a mono brand guy, Damien... I am just obsessed bu fine watches, and don't want to be cured.
It is impossible for me to say which one, if I could afford it, I would like to get, as I should use the plurial, here.
This GP world is truly fascinating!
Best, my friend.
Nicolas
I just "found" your amazing article, Nicolas. A big thanks for bringing all the history and background of the Tourbillon sous 3 ponts.
Looking at the photo of the pocket watch movement, i have been thinking again and again: this must be the most beautful watch movement ever made. It is just pure art.
I also have no answer on which one to choose from, should this dream one day come true. Personally i prefer the arrow shaped bridges over the straight ones. The enamel dial on the front and the 3 goldend bridges on the back is probably the most tempting one, but all are simply gorgeous.
I will read your article again and again.
Stefan
Yes, we share the same problem: It is difficult to pick one and only one from all these marvels, even if I start to have an idea, here.
GP is one of my favourite brands.
No wonder why, when you see these " slices of Dream ".
Best,
Nicolas
