....Change the screw to fix the caliber at case (dog-screw) are not OMEGA original.

The main plates and bridges are secured by flat head mirror shine steel screws, and the movement is secured by bigger domed-head steel screws As said, everything in this piece, is factory original....

Sometimes personal inspection reveals more details than HD photos

... this is the kind of example every collector dreams to find someday. I have been a long time admirer/lover of the Cosmic model, but they are very very rare in my Country. It is very curious they were so popular in our neighbour Brazil and not here just a few thousand miles to the south! Let me say that Omega has always been a very popular brand in my land anyway. A few years ago I found one example far from being perfect and which needed some working. I finally found the correct crown and hands for it, and my watchmaker made a complete overhaul of its movement, but I suspect the dial was redone in the past. The lack of the words "Swiss Made" is lacking in my dial, but I learned that in some period of production Cosmic dials came without this wording so this is not wrong in my dial. I enjoy wearing my Cosmic from time to time, and always look forward to find a better one, also with a steel cased which I prefer, though I wouldn´t refuse a gold cased one.. ... very interesting reading about how it came to you to be photographed. It confirms that the long journey of collecting brings lots of surprises!!
It is also very interesting to note that in spite of the closeness of our Countries where you and me live respectively, and the popularity of the Omega brand in both, the models we can find today as collectors differs greatly. I guess it is related with the commercial politics of Omega in the past, which led to the selling of different model lines in each Country, and the general taste of consumers in each market.
