This is how the sequence of events happened, as simply described as possible:
1. Cpt. A. posted his questioning answer. This for some reason, even though it was made to someone else's post, showed up in my unanswered responses tab.
2. I open my unanswered responses tab and see Cpt. A's question and instinctively think it is regarding Soren Kierkegaard's quote in my original post. Confusingly, both myself and Mr. Choupette posted quotes about deception

3. I then proceed to answer Cpt. A's question as if it were made to me. As soon as the answer is posted and the view goes to full thread I realize that his question was actually made to someone else! I then immediately proceed to delete my comment, and since I cannot delete my own post, mark the post for deletion by typing the sentence above.
